A Thankful Update
First off, allow me to thank everyone who commented and emailed me well wishes in regards to my shoulder. I went to an orthopedic doctor this week and I will have an MRI next Tuesday to assess the damages and decide what will happen next. Hopefully I will only have to begin muscle strength training and not surgery!
Also, thanks to everyone who helped me pick a pair of boots! But, well, let’s sit down and talk about that. See, I have this problem: I’m in a restaurant, I can’t decide between two dishes, and I ask the waiter what he or she prefers. And then – and this is the bad part – I choose whatever it is that they don’t recommend. I don’t know why I do this, dear readers, except for the suspicion that I am being sold something, and I hate that feeling. Even if it’s something I would otherwise buy, if I feel like it’s being pushed on me I will normally reject it.
So, about these boots. It’s not that I didn’t love every single pair I presented to you, and I agree that choice A was the best of the bunch. But I didn’t choose any of them and went with something completely different. Don’t hate the player, hate the game!
To be fair, they were cheaper than any of the pairs I was previously stalking. AND they are that buttery tan I was looking for! So, all in all, a good replacement to my old pair, may they rest in pieces.
