This weekend was busy, busy! A few things:

1. The Blonde is Back

Wee! Lightening my hair is how I officially ring in every summer.

2. New Frens

I bought a feesh! Two, in fact. I married them over the weekend. I’m all about supporting civil unions (and speaking of frens, check out my lovely ladies here and here).

3. Mish-Mash Bash

Lulu and Seven, the cutest people I know, in Em’s kitchen. My friend Emily is moving to Montana and she invited friends to eat everything in her kitchen and buy whatever furniture she couldn’t take with her. Like the good friend I am, I gorged myself on mac’n'cheese and red beans and rice. I also bought a few odds and ends. If you’re moving and you want to get rid of stuff, I highly recommend pressuring your friends to take everything off of your hands.

I bought this box (heehee, box! -Lindsey) to use as a stand for my lounge chair, thus finally completing my little reading corner! Now, to get to reading and not watching ANTM marathons…

I also bought this lovely, totally Southern Living, cake stand! At first I claimed that I never baked, but my friends raised their brows. I forgot I’m always the one bringing sweets to our parties. So of course I had to make some to properly show it off.

I also began a top secret photo project that will be posted tomorrow, stay tuned!
